Dakine rocks they will warranty anything that deserves that attention.
That being said, I would say the lifetime of a harness is two years max if you really get out and use it. One year if hard riding may be the safe replacement time though.
I know I have been replacing my spreader bar every year after some breakages (ss surefire not a fixed spreader)
