Kite boarder dies from head injurie (The News and Star) |
A CUMBRIAN kite boarder has died of serious head injuries weeks after a gust of wind threw him 45 feet into the air. Thomas Sellen, 26, from Coniston, had been kitesurfing on Silecroft beach when he was lifted into the air before landing on the sand on May 28.
