Sorry, yes, was out of town in SPI training for KB4C.... Lots of downwinders in waves, dodging dolphins and small children wading in the ocean. I kind of missed the upwind portion of the training.

Some updates on KB4C....

John Wayne Cancer Foundation is throwing down for this year's KB4C...
- All participants get a JWCF tee shirt, JWCF Flexfit cap, riding jersey, JWCF sunscreen (the best), lunch, KB4C tee, and a bunch of other sponsor goodies.

Neil Hutchinson is coming to announce this year's KB4C again!

We're adding a new event this year as part of the derby... the World's 1st Kiteboarding Long Jump!! Details to come.

The course will be revised slightly, adding an additional upwind buoy and moving the upwind tack north toward the White Salmon bridge and farther west (out of the Well's Island shadow).

Be sure to sign up as a fundraiser asap -- we'll be starting some fundraising matching contests soon and you can only get matched if you get your donations in!

We would love to get some more silent auction and raffle donations if you have a business or service that you could donate from. Remember....most donations are tax-deductible!

i kinda feel the same way about my c-shapes. I feel like they made me a better kiter, even thought it would have been easier to learn on a bow...

Definately feel the same way. The old school C kites were harder to learn on - but definately required for you to develop a lot of skills.
