Opted for Sauvies... coast would have been more epic but its hard to ignore 16-24 at Scappoose and a 35 minute drive.
Pretty windy, plenty for the 9m. Chop, and gusty early.... but sun and PBR made it all better.

sorta... classic sauvies big kites and glides were prevalent. I got about 30 minutes total on the small board with my 11m and Garret's 15m.
The current was so strong that I think it was only blowing 5mph but you could still go upwind like crazy... the water was flat and buttery. All in all, a nice way to spend a warm spring afternoon.
Probably try again tomorrow, think its supposed to be better...

Hayling Island, it's South coast about an hour from London. It is a very special spot, I had no idea kiting over here would be this good. It isn't very cold either, but it is cloudy most of this week. 4/3 suit, no hood, gloves, or booties.
