Affinity group-marketing in kite surf tourism - 2006/08/06 17:48Affinity group-marketing in kite surf tourism Small market – big chance!? Who are "kite surfers"? Which media do they use? Which are the most famous brands and which are the most famous kite spots? What should products for kite surf tourism look like? These and more questions are the basis for our study about kite surfing with a focus on kite surf tourism. The study is embedded in a thesis of the Marketing Faculty, University of Trier, Germany. The online-questionnaires of this study are available in English under www.kitetourism.com and in German under www.kitetourism.de. The survey will start on August 28th and last until October 31th. It's focus is on the American and European markets. For this survey we need partners for sponsoring and promotion. Our partners will be mentioned on the website of the online-questionnaire and in the final study as our independent supporters. To recruit more participants for the survey we ask our sponsor-partners to sponsor the survey with various prizes, such as kites, boards or clothes, which will be raffled after the survey in October, and our promotion-partners, as kite magazines or kite related websites, to support us with free pop-ups or advertisements. Of course we will publish the first main results of the study in November 2006 free of charge exclusively through our partners. In the end it is a win-win-situation for every participant of this first survey of this kind. Sponsor-partners will appear in the online-questioner according to the sponsored value, promotion-partners depending on the support. The study will be available in December 2006 exclusively for our partners for the first six months.
